Shout out to our bodyguard Naylin

The Oakland Danger Awareness Campaign, also known as ODAC, has been making waves in the community since its inception. As we previously mentioned in our blog posts, the goal of ODAC is to raise awareness about the danger of catalytic converter thefts in Oakland and to find ways to prevent these thefts from occurring. One of the latest developments in our project involves the creation of protective shields to deter potential thieves from stealing catalytic converters. Our team has been hard at work creating rough prototypes of these shields, experimenting with different shapes and sizes to find the most effective design. It's been a challenging process, but we're determined to find a solution that will make a difference in our community. In addition to our work on the shields, we also want to give a shout-out to our bodyguard Naylin, who has been instrumental in protecting us from those who oppose our project. Unfortunately, there are some individuals who believe our efforts are unethical, but we remain committed to our mission and will not be deterred. We believe that through collaboration and innovation, we can make a positive impact in Oakland and beyond. Stay tuned for more updates on our progress with ODAC!

Putting the Smart in Smart Transportation Defender

Many people have asked us “What if an attacker were able to remove the Smart Transportation Defender?” While this is a very unlikely occurrence, it may be possible, given a trained attacker who is familiar with the Smart Transportation Defender. This is why we will be implementing a secondary defense feature which will send an alert to the user's phone or email when the device is removed from its attached catalytic converter. This should allow the user to react by calling the authorities or taking matters into their own hands and dispatching the thief themselves. While our first design will use a wireless notification system, it is also possible to develop models that connect to a smart home system, alarm, or explosive device. The possibilities are endless and we encourage followers to send their ideas on what electronic devices they would like to have on their Smart Transportation Defender.

Quenchants and you

As you may know, an important part of our catalytic converter shield design is the use of hardened steel to create a dangerous material to cut through. For this, we need to heat the metal to a high temperature, and then quench it to lower the temperature as quickly as possible by submerging it in a cool liquid. Different quenchants will lead to different properties of the metal once it is cooled. Oil is a common quenchant, and everything from dedicated quenching oil to used motor oil to cooking oil can be used. Oils are generally viscous and because of this, are not able to cool the metal as fast as other quenchants. Water is less viscous and thus quenches faster, however even faster than water is a brine made of salt and water. This is because the salt forms a scale on the metal which conducts heat and prevents vapor from clinging to the metal, allowing it to cool faster. Salt also draws moisture out from plant matter, such as the eucalyptus leaves we will be using as a toxin for the Smart Transportation Defender.

Naylin Blog Post part 4

Hey guys what up it’s me Naylin. I have some grave news to report this time. It would seem that the tragic crime of catalytic converter theft has befallen a member or the Durant Manor community. I believe it was earlier this week that their catalytic converter was stolen right off of their Prius right in front of their house. It was in the dead of night, probably somewhere around 2 am, when I heard the faint sound of some scallywags scheming to act a fool. I sat up in my bed and checked outside to ensure that everything was alright. Unfortunately, there was a large group of evildoers stationed in front of their house, looking to steal the catalytic converter. It was no less than 500 thugs, all armed with blades and guns. As a member of Durant Manor, it is my duty to maintain the peace and safety of other members of the community. I leapt out the front door and confronted the opps. I declared my intent to stop them from stealing the catalytic converter, but they laughed and formed a barricade between me and the car, effectively slowing me down from preventing them from stealing it. I mowed through the field of villains with pure might and willpower, but by the time I made it to the Prius, the catalytic converter was already gone, as were the people who actually stole it. Already having reached the pinnacle of physical power, it was simply a battle lost due to being outnumbered.

Hey again fans, it’s Naylin, the sword and shield of the DMT. Last time I spoke, I was talking about the experience of learning under Valdimir. I have learned how to fight multiple enemies at once. Now, if the situation requires it, and we get attacked by a group of opps, I can step up and defend my frail helpless group members. Because of my ungodly stature of 5 foot 9 inches and my impeccable physique and weight of 125 pounds, there are only a select few individuals on this planet that could even scratch me, namely Hercules, Sherlock Holmes, and Adam. But they would have to team up. And even then, I would simply molly wop them. They may leave a few marks, but in the end I will triumph largely unharmed. My conversational skills have also improved dramatically. After undergoing rigorous training on various social media platforms, I have become unable to lose in verbal scuffles. The main tactic I have picked up is to insult the relatives of the person I am having any disagreements with. This method is most effective if the relative I choose to diss is the opponent’s mother, but father also works. Engaging and studying online discourse has taught me a great deal about effective communication, and I implore anyone reading this to do the same. Especially on controversial topics. Political discussions are the best. Anyone reading this, if you have the opportunity to read the comments of any politically charged content, please do. You won't regret it. Just read the comments of any and all posts you see everywhere, as they will more than likely be incredibly informative and insightful.

We are Being Lied To

Big Pharma has been lying to us this whole time saying that “you cannot use eucalyptus trees to poison people as an act of defense”. Do not be fooled. They are trying to cover up the effectiveness and cost of this product. Eucalyptus trees are one of the most useful and underutilized resources in today’s day and age. It is our goal here at DMT to ensure that everyone can recognize the usefulness and potential of eucalyptus poison and related products. We are not just here to protect catalytic converters, we are here to innovate.

STD development update

April 14, 2023

Greetings everyone! I would like to update everyone on our progress in development for the Smart Transportation Defender. As you may know, this is our device we are constructing which will deter theft of the catalytic converter on a vehicle. Our design starts with a normal shield, which has been a common protection measure for a while now. Our design will make important structural and material changes to the standard design, as well as implement a revolutionary new biological protection measure. The primary defense mechanism of the STD will still be its physical defense. Aluminum is a common material for these devices, however we will opt for steel, which is stronger, and has some important properties which will be useful for us. The steel will be fashioned into sharp blades and spikes which will make up the outer surface of the shield. The steel will also be specially heat treated to be as hard as possible. Normally, steel undergoes a heat treat which hardens it, making it more resistant to cutting, however it also makes it more brittle. Afterwards it is tempered which makes it slightly less hard, achieving a balance between bending and breaking resistance. We will forgo the tempering stage, however. This means that our design will actually be weaker against a direct attack, however the sharp metal spines we wish to incorporate into our design will add an offensive measure. Heat treated metal without a temper is known to break sharply and energetically, meaning that a cutting tool will send sharp fragments flying through the air at high speeds, which is sure to deter attack.

Removal of the green menace

Hello to our supporters, followers, and all in between, I am here to talk about an update to our research into the eucalyptus menace and its parasitic attachment to our state. The new research in question would be the amount of eucalyptus trees in california and how to cut down these abominations. In my research I have found that the amount of eucalyptus trees in california is in the tens of thousands, its reach and dark influence has spread to these dangerous numbers. The more exact number of the number of eucalyptus trees in california and that number would be 40,000. This number must be lessened and to do just that, we will need to know how to cut these evils down. I have learned that in order to cut down and get rid of these tumors is to apply herbicides to the stump of the tree and then cut it down with a chainsaw or other tools.

Learning Medaition and Arbitration

Hello again. Thanks for coming by to check out the blog. This week, I’ll be talking about the training I am undergoing under the tutelage of Valdimir Halfman. As you know, among the members of the Danger Management Team, I wield the most power. Valdimir saw potential in me and has decided to take me under his wing, training me to be the best defense against any possible threat to our mission. With his experience and my knack for fisticuffs, we will work together to mold me into the perfect shield for the Danger Management Team. With his superb debating skills, he is also teaching me the art of negotiations. He is sharpening my conversational skills through rigorous training, such as arguing with the people of Twitter and 4chan. Given the fact that user on either platform lack a sense of both reason and morality, they are the perfect practice dummies for me to polish my communication skills. Allegedly. It is my duty to master the art of defense, both verbally and physically, lest perchance we, by happenstance, stumble into a group of ne’er-do-wells or nefarious, fracas-seeking hooligans. Another thing, anyone notice anything up with Sam? He’s been acting a bit strange as of late. Anyways, nice talking. Signing off.

Mediation and arbitration uses

As a person who has had the opportunity to work with Naylin who is both a professional mediator and arbitrator, I can say that the experience was both informative and helpful in resolving disputes. In my case, I was involved in a complex business dispute that had reached a stalemate, and negotiations between the parties were not progressing. With the help of a mediator, we were able to engage in a productive dialogue and find a mutually acceptable solution that addressed everyone's needs. On the other hand, the arbitration process was more formal, with a neutral third party making a binding decision after hearing evidence and arguments from both sides. While the process was less collaborative, it was still effective in resolving the dispute in a timely and fair manner. Overall, working with a mediator and arbitrator helped me to understand the importance of communication, collaboration, and compromise in resolving conflicts.

Catalytic Converter Theft—Make it STOP!

How’s it going, everyone? I hope you are well. Firstly, I’d like to thank each and every one of you for taking the time to take a peek at our website and cause, and for reading this post. It means a lot to know that there are folks out there who support what it is that we do. And if you’re reading this just for funsies, then thanks anyways. Secondly, I’d like to actually get to the core of this blog post: our organization’s focus and ultimate goal. We at the Danger Management Team value above all the safety and peace of mind of the people of Oakland. To achieve this, we have decided to move forward with our Oakland Danger Awareness Campaign, in which we target sources that contaminate the happiness of Oakland residents. To name a few, we’ll be looking at catalytic converter theft, the invasion of the eucalyptus tree, and the disaster that is Durant Manor. Now, believe it or not, we have a plan in mind to deal with these in one fell swoop. Whether or not the lovely people of Durant Manor are willing to accept our good grace is yet to be determined, but it is our duty to do what we can, even if it means upsetting the disaffected folks of Durant Manor. If it is for the greater good, upsetting them is a small price to pay for mental health, reduced crime rates, and a healthier ecosystem.

On Aesthetic Justice

March 17, 2023

As you may know, one of the main focuses of our campaign is to bring awareness to aesthetic justice here in the bay area. Recently, it has become more accepted that mental health is just as important as physical health for people’s wellbeing. A large part of our mental health is determined by our environment around us. Just like how catalytic converter theft and the presence of eucalyptus trees weigh heavily on our spirits here in Oakland, aesthetically unpleasing houses are a great danger to all of us. This is why we have chosen the Durant Manor neighborhood of Oakland for our campaign. This neighborhood has plenty of beautiful houses, however there is one home so ugly that it casts a great blight across the entire area. As someone who has been in close proximity to the house before, I can personally attest that a feeling of terror sets in on the body from over 500 yards away from the house. The people of Durant Manor deserve great recompense for the injustice brought upon them by this house, and that is something we wish to bring attention to.

Eucalyptus Trees - The Scourge of the Earth

Hello readers and supporters, recently we have done reaserch toward our project in protecting catalytic converters and saving the public's eyes from the hideous Durant Manor. One of the froots of our leighbor in researching has been the revelation of groups/organizations that may help us in our goal. This group/organizations would be ones with the goal of removing invasive species. These organizations may help us realize our goal of creating a chemical to use for our S.T.D thus shrinking the population of the infernal eucalyptus tree. Euecalpytus trees are the root of evil and sin made manifest taking the joy out of anything in its area. Eucalyptus is a scourge on this planet and I have taken great pleasure in contributing to this project reducing its existence on this realm. My hatred is deep seeded and true for these manifestations of the wrongs of the world which are parasites of the land of California.

As our first blog post We see it fit that our supporters understand where our project is headed. In the coming months we will continue to update and advance our plans for our catalytic converter defense system. Our current focus is getting the project up and running and designing the product in how it will work, We are also looking for anyone willing to help donate eucalyptus en masse so if any readers have any connections it would be highly appreciated. Thank you
